Advance tax and tax planning
Estimate your tax during the year and pay it in instalments to avoid interest.
Accurate returns for individuals, HUFs, firms, LLPs and companies, filed on time.
Filing an income tax return reports your income for the year, claims credit for tax already paid, and settles any balance or refund. It is also the document banks, embassies and lenders ask for as proof of income. Which form you use depends on who you are and what you earn: ITR-1 and ITR-2 for individuals with salary, pension, house property or capital gains, ITR-3 and ITR-4 for business and professional income (ITR-4 for presumptive taxation), ITR-5 for firms and LLPs, ITR-6 for companies, and ITR-7 for trusts.
Returns for FY 2025-26 (assessment year 2026-27) are filed under the Income-tax Act, 1961. The new Income-tax Act, 2025 applies from 1 April 2026, so income of FY 2026-27 onwards is reported for the new 'tax year'. We handle the transition for you.
For FY 2025-26 (AY 2026-27) the usual dates are 31 July for individuals and HUFs with no business income, 31 August for non-audit business and professional income, and 31 October for audit cases and companies, which the CBDT extended to 21 November 2026. Dates can change by notification, and we tell you the date that applies to you.
You can usually still file a belated return, but with a late fee and interest, and some losses cannot be carried forward. File on time where possible.
It depends on your deductions and income. We compare both and show you the numbers.
