Understand the notice, collect the evidence and file a reasoned reply on time.

About GST notice reply

A GST notice is a formal communication from the department, such as a scrutiny notice (ASMT-10), a show cause notice or demand (DRC-01), a notice for non-filing of returns, a notice on registration, a refund notice or an audit notice. Each has a time limit for reply, usually stated in the notice itself. Ignoring it can lead to an order passed against you without hearing you.

Demand notices for earlier years are issued under Sections 73 and 74, and for FY 2024-25 onwards under Section 74A. The reply must address each point with documents and the correct legal provisions. We read the notice, tell you what it means and what is at risk, and prepare and file the reply.
