Private limited company registration

Incorporate a private limited company with a distinct legal identity and room to raise funds.

About Private limited company registration

A private limited company is a separate legal entity registered under the Companies Act, 2013. Shareholders' liability is limited to the value of their shares, the company continues even if owners change, and it can raise money from investors by issuing shares. It is the preferred structure for businesses that plan to grow or take investment.

You need at least two directors and two shareholders (the same person can be both), with at least one director who has stayed in India for 182 days or more in the previous year. There is no minimum paid-up capital. The company must keep proper books, hold board meetings and annual general meetings, and file annual returns with the Registrar of Companies.
